this last year was a good year for visual thinking! VIZTHINK Holland has now had 4 succesfully organized events and is heading towards a fifth and final event that will close the series. After this event VIZTHINK Holland will start its own Forum where we will start discussions and answer questions moderated by expert enthusiasts. Keep checking the vizthink Holland Blog in 2010! on the 16th of july a fresh group of enthusiasts gathered to discuss visual things at the 4th edition of VIZTHINK NL… the flow of this particular VIZTHINK session was  nothing less than perfect. Good minds, active participation, great discussion and valuable output!

The 4th Vizthink NL gathering will be held at the inspiring offices of IPMMC Vastgoed in Utrecht (see IPMMC.nl).  IPMMC has extensive experience in defining inspiring & innovative real estate concepts.  Visualization is a key element in defining those concepts. This is why the theme of the day will be “Defining your ideal concept space”. How do you communicate your vision of a concept to others and how does a concept evolve into a tangible product, or in IPMMC case, a piece of prime real estate. Do you use a 3D mockup? a Sketch? Or something in between?

Purpose of this VIZTHINK session is to start up discussions across disciplines and backgrounds. The basic concept remains: we facilitate the logistics and a basis rough program. YOU help make the day a success by contributing with energy and cool ideas. There is room for participants to initiate discussions on their own (concept related) topic. If you want to drive a discussion table, please let us know.

Date: July 16th, 14.00 to 18.00 (drinks afterwards)

This coming Thursday we explore the future use of visualization, with 2 challenging sessions! To get into a future effective mindset we would like to ask you to send us some images/pictures you might have, showing YOUR vision on te future use of visuals.  What trends are emerging according to YOU and how do you see yourself using future tooling and knowledge in your everyday work? A single picture is the basis for a 1000 words so be critical with your submissions..;). please send them to vizthink@gridd.nl .

Our goal on Thursday is to try and do more then provide a place of inspiration and discussion. Because Vizthink is a global effort to get a better grip on visualization in general, we challenge all attendees to send us their feedback in any which for you might find suitable…

We are excited that the T-Xchange laboratory wants to be the venue for this session. It is a great place where experiments with futuristic visual interactions can be held and therefore we chose the following theme:
