“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.”

Mark Geljon and Dennis Luijer have come to the conclusion that their mutual interest and obsession for the use of visualization in any thinking process is strong enough to justify a whole new web-effort. Now ... the focus of this new network-site lies on trying to distill what we have learned by organizing 4 VIZTHINK events and looking for the story that binds everything together. Our great thanks and respect goes out to the attendees of the vizthink holland events, without whom we would not have had the start of a big puzzle to a story.

This new WEBJAM is meant to sort out our thoughts, match them with existing pearls of wisdom and make the whole of visual thinking presentable to a wider audience. It is proving to be quite difficult to merge all the seemingly simple visual content to a meaningful vessel with which the story of visual thinking can be told.. This is exactly the challenge which has been posed to us on the 21st of May in Belgium. The COCD (centre for the development of Creative Thinking) has granted us a stage on which we will present our simplified and focused thoughts on visual thinking.

On this blog we shall test the developing story. Once it is done we will share it on slideshare and prezi, so others can use what we have created and tell their own story from their own perspective. For now here is a small graph about the balance we endure every day. We are not only left or right brain oriented... there is a balance. To our opinion allowing subjective visualization back into the learning process we train ourselves to utilize the great power of your whole brain... and not just your predominant side... just a visual thought....
